The first time we see the character Anya from Buffy the Vampire Slayer show us her fear of bunnies is in the season four episode "Fear Itself" when she dresses up as a big fluffy white rabbit for Halloween. Xander tells her to dress up as something scary and she shows up in a not so terrifying bunny costume. Her irrational fear of bunnies is a long running joke in the series and the costume is one of Anya's most memorable outfits.
So I have done a bit of digging to try and find something for Buffy fans to wear to Halloween events & conventions that is similar to what Anya wears. Anya's is weird in the way the pink belly goes up to her neck. This one doesn't, but it sure looks super close to what she wears and most fans of the show would understand who you are trying to be if you wore something like the photo below. Check it out! Looking for a general Spike costume? Spike is the best vampire in my
personal opinion and it's understandable you would want to dress up like
him (or if you want your guy to dress like him!). Unfortunately, there
aren't any pre-made costumes for him so that means you must be a little bit creative!
He dresses pretty much the same throughout the entire series so
that makes things easy. Luckily for you I have shopped around online for
pieces to put together to make a full Spike costume.

HAIR
I just love Blondiebear! :)
Spikes bleached do will be the hardest to copy as there are no wigs
to do his hair justice. If you are really serious about taking on the
look of Spike then you will need to dye your hair bleach blonde. He does
have different hair in a few episodes but his bleach blonde hair is his
trademark look!
Now lets get right to all of what you need for a Spike costume. Remember, most of what is wears is black. Even his nails are
painted black! :) I included a red button up shirt because he would wear that over his black shirt every now and then, especially at the beginning. He also wears that shirt during the musical episode of Buffy. If you want that look, just skip wearing the jacket and add the red button up over the clothes with the button up opened.
Looking for the Buffy Prophecy Girl dress or costume? Buffy wears this dress
in the last episode of the first season of the hit TV show Buffy the
Vampire Slayer. The dress with the jacket and crossbow is considered by
many fans one of the more iconic of Buffy Summers.
It's very simple to
put together once you have all of the basics. Buffy wears a leather
jacket with many of her outfits so even that can be reused for different
Buffy outfits. I will update this page often when I find new or better
products. Dress up like Buffy for a party, fan convention, Halloween, or
just use the clothes for any event!

DRESS
All of these dresses are available in white. I pick these dresses out
individually to weed out dresses that don't look anything like Buffy's
and to keep them updated when new dresses are available or old ones go
out of stock.
EXTRAS & ACCESSORIES
Her weapon of choice for Prophecy Girl is a crossbow. Unless you double as a hunter then all you need is a cheap crossbow like this one.
Any white, closed toe, small heel, with a strap would do. These shoes are very similar to what Buffy wears if you compare them to my screenshot.
Throughout the show Buffy wears a lot of different jackets. For Prophecy
Girl she picks a black jacket similar to this one. She wears black
jackets a lot throughout the show so it could be reused for different
costumes. She also wears a cross like this one throughout the 7 seasons
of the show and wears it during Prophecy girl.
About Buffy Season 1 & Prophecy Girl
"Prophecy Girl" is the last episode of season one of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Season one is only 12 episodes long because it started out as a
mid-season replacement. The show goes through many shifts over the
course of 7 seasons but I feel that season 1 is a must-see to get the
full Buffy experience and see the evolution of the characters. There are some references to this season in the later seasons as well. If you haven't watched
Buffy and would like to start, check out season 1 on DVD. If you are curious what the show is like, check out the fan-made trailer for the episode "Prophecy Girl" on the right.
